A Snowman or Snowmen appear as obstacles in the Mario Kart 64 course, Frappe Snowland (which re-appeared in Mario Kart DS), and the Mario Kart DS course, DK Pass. When the player collides with one of these snowmen, the player will drop any items they have, and they will be knocked backwards a fair way. In DK Pass, they are much more dangerous, as they can potentially knock the player off the edge. These snowmen are seen to have scarves around their necks.
