A Rainbow Boost is an item in all Mario Kart games. If the player drives over one, they will get a speed boost. Some Rainbow Boosts are in a Ramp shape, and are called Rainbow Ramps. If the player uses a Mushroom on any of these pads, then nothing will happen, however, the player will go faster if the player slipstreams on it.
