Pine T. and his son.
Pine T. was a Toad in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door who ventured into the Pit of 100 Trials and was defeated by the enemies there. Upon request from his son, Mario went into the pit and rescued him.
Pine T. went into the pit to find treasures after he lost his job.
