Flurries appeared in the icy regions of World 4 in [[Super Mario Bros. 2 | Super Mario Bros. 2's]] [[Subcon]]. These slippery enemies would run along the ice after Mario, but they had low traction on said ice, and could easily slip off an edge to its doom.  Flurrys are not to be confused with the friendly [[Flurrie|Madame Flurrie]], whose name may have come from this classic enemy.
