Fotons constantly shrink and grow rapidly, going as small as Mario's fist, and sometimes the size of Mario himself. They attack by emitting small heated particles, and firing them at Mario and his allies. Fotons often fire several particles in a row, making those projectiles harder to dodge. Squirps's fireballs can easily destroy these enemies.
