The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.

It has been requested that this article be rewritten.

Two sprites of the ghost boss holding Captain Syrup (Game Boy Color version).
Grabber Ghost grabbed Captain Syrup.

Grabber Ghost is the boss of the fifth secret chapter Uncanny Mansion in Wario Land II. It appeared in the chapter's fifth level called "Capture the Ghost!" If Wario enters his room, it seems that Grabber Ghost snatched Captain Syrup and took her away to a secret room. When the ghoul returns, he looks around, and the battle begins.

The Grabber Ghost's method of attack is that he recedes and then drops himself from above, trying to grab Wario. Wario can hit him with a Dash Attack if the ghoul misses. Then, Grabber Ghost tries to swoop down to capture Wario, who must be fast and hit him with another Dash Attack. When hit a second time, the ghost will merely use one of his two moves to try and grab Wario again. When Wario lands his third hit, the Grabber Ghost turns red and attacks again, until he is hit for the fourth and final time.

Wario recovers his treasure, but then the floor disappears, and he seems to fall forever. He then wakes up, and discovers the whole thing was a dream. He then returns to sleep, but as the credis start rolling, it is revealed to the Player that the Black Sugar Pirates are trying to steal Wario's treasures for real, just as they had in the beginning of the game.

Grabber Ghost does have similiarties with spiders and bats, both seen as creepy creatures. Also, when Grabber Ghost snatches Wario, he'll place him in a room located above the battlefield; Wario must then make his way back to Grabber Ghost's room to resume the battle.
