Heart Plants are plants that grow on Lavalava Island in Paper Mario. They look similar to small yellow coiled vines on the ground. When Mario touches them, they uncoil, and drop hearts that restore his HP. However, Mario must also be cautious of a type of plant that looks identical to a Heart Plant; they are called Hurt Plants, which look exactly like Heart Plants, making it impossible to tell which is which until Mario inspects one of the types of plants.
