A Gold Medal.

A Gold Medal is an item found solely in the Wii game Super Paper Mario. They can only be acquired by purchasing them at Notso's shop in Flopside for five-hundred coins. When used, a Gold Medal will add 10,000 Points to the player's score.

If the Gold Medal is used while under the effects of a Slow Flower or Speed Flower, it will triple the points the player earns.

Gold Medals are the equivalent of ten Star Medals, which cost fifty coins and add 1,000 Points to the player's score.
