Yoshi's Island DS is the direct sequel of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and the indirect sequel to Yoshi's Story. This upcoming game promises more levels, updated graphics, new babies, and a whole new adventure! Although the graphics have been updated, they still retain the trademark "pen and pencil" style of the original. Apparently, the story revolves around a mysterious floating island. According to The Complete Mario Encyclopedia, which is a Mario Encyclopedia released by Nintendo into the United Kingdom, the British version of Yoshi's Island 2 is called Yoshi's Story 2. Although this may simply be an error on the typer's part, it may be possible that this is true. Being that it is officially from Nintendo, both answers could be possible.
