A [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]] can [[jump]] onto Peepers to send them off the screen. If a Yoshi eats a Peeper, it will give him an [[Yoshi's Egg|egg]] instead of healing him. When a Peeper is shot down, a puff of smoke appears, and the Peeper loses its feathers and falls away. If a Yoshi eats a Peeper when it loses its feathers, it will heal him back to full health.
