This attack is one of the most powerful attacks any of the partners are capable of, with a base attack of 8. However, the attack costs nine [[Flower Points]]. Bobbery can only use this attack after being leveled up to the Ultra Rank. In order to execute this move, the player must rapidly tap the {{button|gcn|A}} button to fill the gauge as much as possible. This attack is similar to [[Bombette]]'s [[Mega Bomb]] from ''[[Paper Mario]]''.

This is the only non-jump attack that will ground flying enemies, except for a [[First Strike]] [[Bomb (attack)|Bomb]]. It will even ground [[Parabuzzy|Parabuzzies]] and [[Spiky Parabuzzy|Spiky Parabuzzies]], even though they take no damage from explosions.
This move will flip [[Cleft]]s and ground winged enemies such as [[Para-Beetle|Parabuzzies]] even though they take no damage from the explosion.

Bob-ombast is an attack that can be performed by Admiral Bobbery in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door after reaching Ultra Rank. At 9 FP, this is the second most expensive move of Mario's partners, only behind Smooch. In order to execute this move, the player must rapidly tap the A Button button to fill a gauge within the time limit. After the time is up, Bobbery will explode and hit all enemies with damage dependent on how much the gauge was filled – up to 8 damage without Attack power modifiers if executed perfectly.

This move will flip Clefts and ground winged enemies such as Parabuzzies even though they take no damage from the explosion.

Bobbery can also perform a Stylish move by pressing A Button as soon as he lands on the ground after exploding.
