Birdfish[1] are enemies found in the Hippo stage of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Much like Cheep Cheeps, they jump out of a body of water and attack anything in their way. However, Birdfish glide in the air a bit longer than Cheep Cheeps, using their wings to fly through the air. To defeat a Birdfish, Mario can jump or throw a fireball at it.
