Shogakukan Inc. (株式会社小学館, Kabushiki gaisha Shōgakukan) is a Japanese publishing company, which publishes various types of media. The company founded Shueisha as their entertainment division, which is currently the largest publisher in Japan.[1] In turn, Shueisha is the founder of Hakusensha; the three companies, together with other related publishing companies, are known collectively as the Hitotsubashi Group.

Shogakukan has published numerous works focused on the Mario franchise, including game guides, manga, and magazines.
