The battle for Temple Rescue

Temple Rescue is a Darkmess Tentacle battle in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located inside the Sunrise Temple on Beacon Beach. The heroes must rescue Twinkle from the Darkmess Tentacle. The condition for this battle is "Reach Area", which is where Twinkle is located. A tutorial is shown before the battle, giving advice that enemies can have weaknesses, such as the Scoper being weak against the Burn Super Effect. This battle is part of the In Deep Water main quest. After completing this battle, the battle Driven to the Edge will immediately follow.

Objective

  • Reach Area

Layout

At first glance, the battle is spread out across four sections, with six islands. There are four switches located at various parts of the battlefield, and when activated, they cause more ground to rise up from the water, creating more paths for the heroes and the enemies.

First island

The first island is where the heroes start, and there is one Stooge and one Scoper here. There is also a switch that emerges ground to the next island, allowing the heroes to continue.

Second Island

The second island has three Stooges and two switches, one of which must be reached by using a Team Jump. These switches emerge ground at the left and right individually. The left switch raises ground for the left, while the right switch raises ground for the right side. Only one switch has to be activated, but both can give more ground.

Third island

The third island has three Stooges and a Scoper, along with a switch that causes ground to emerge to the fourth and final island where Twinkle is.

Fourth Island

The fourth island has two Scopers, along with the end destination, where Twinkle is. One hero must reach the area for the battle to end.
