The Artifact (alternatively known as the Ancient Artifact[1]) is a key item found in Dry Dry Ruins in Paper Mario. It is acquired after obtaining the Super Hammer, as it is found behind a stone block in the long corridor (the first room with the Staircase switches) between the two hub rooms of the ruins. If given to Kolorado, Mario receives a Star Piece.
