DK's Hideout (also called the Basement) is a hidden location in the Nintendo DS game Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. It is located in the basement and has two optional levels. Both levels are hidden optional battles with Donkey Kong and both require a certain star rating to be able to play them. The first level requires 40 Silver Stars or higher and the second requires 40 Gold Stars. The enemies in these areas are Springboards, Fireballs, and barrels.

To unlock both levels, the player needs a certain star rating very similar to the Roof.
Both levels are very similar to the boss battle against Donkey Kong on the Roof. Each level is referred to as a Hidden Boss, and each plays the "How High Can You Get?" theme from Donkey Kong before beginning.

To defeat Donkey Kong, the player must guide the Mini Marios over the bolts on the girders. Barrels and Fireballs fall from the ladders which the Minis must avoid. There are six bolts next to Donkey Kong's platform. After all of the bolts are gone, Donkey Kong falls down, the battle is won, and the player unlocks a new image in the gallery.

This level requires the Minis to dodge barrels, Fireballs, and Springboards. Water drops will occasionally rain from the ceiling. If Minis come into contact with these they will have a shield around them very similar to the fifth battle in Lava Dome. To beat Donkey Kong this time, the Minis must push a massive barrel down on him. Once six Minis make it to the barrel, it falls on Donkey Kong and the battle is won and the player gets a new movie titled Musical.
This level requires the Mini Marios to dodge barrels, Fireballs, and Springboards. Water droplets will occasionally rain from the ceiling, similarly to Boss Game 5 in Room 5-DK. If a Mini Mario comes into contact with a water droplet, the Mini Mario will gain a shield around itself, allowing it to walk on Spikes and take one hit against an enemy, destroying the shield instead of the Mini Mario. The shield will eventually disappear on its own after the Mini starts flashing red. To defeat Donkey Kong, the Mini Marios must reach the massive barrel on the top of the screen. When a Mini Mario reaches the barrel, it pushes it slightly, then climbs up the ladder next to it. After 6 Mini Marios push the barrel, it falls on Donkey Kong, defeating him.

After completing B2, the player unlocks a new movie, titled Musical.
