The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.

This article is about the representative character in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! For the term "Player", see here.
The player in Dribble & Spitz's stage in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!
The female passenger in Dribble and Spitz's stage.

The player refers to multiple characters in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and other instances where the player's name is used in-game. At the beginning of the game, the player must input a name, though they also have the option of letting Wario pick a name for them (which is selected from a long list of names). They then select between male and female. Subsequently, this name and gender appears in the options menu, where it can be changed at any point. After a character's stage is completed, that character usually talks directly to the player; Mona, for example, congratulates the player on completing her stage. There are also other instances in which the name is used, as well as two characters within the story who are directly given the player's name.

The player in Kat & Ana's stage in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!
The prince in Kat and Ana's stage.

In Dribble and Spitz's stage, the two of them pick up the player as a customer with their taxi. They ask them where to go, and the player vaguely tells them, "That voice... It was like the sea..." Dribble understands and soon begins driving them to the sea. After being dropped off at a pier, the player transforms into a mermaid and dives into the water, waving goodbye to Dribble and Spitz as they swim into the sunset. Dribble and Spitz soon realize that the player did not pay their fare.

In Kat and Ana's stage, the player is the owner of the Castle, which is also named after them. Here, they are also a prince or a princess (depending on their gender). While the player is sleeping, Boneheads attacks the Castle and possesses the player. Ana and her assistant ninjas fail to rescue them, and Ana sends a letter to Kat asking for her help. Kat eventually enters the Castle, defeats Boneheads, and frees the player. Everyone then relaxes outside of the castle.

The player's name is also used in more minor ways. In 9-Volt's stage, the player's name appears in the character box in the corner. Similarly, in Dungeon Dilemma (the boss microgame for Orbulon's stage), the player's name appears in the stat box at the top. In Praise or Haze II, the player's name occasionally appears as one of the subjects to praise or haze.
