He sits atop three barrels and attacks by throwing [[hammer]]s that turn [[Wario]] into [[Bouncy Wario|Springy Wario]], forcing him to replay the battle. To defeat the Doll Boy, Wario must strike the [[barrel]]s when they flash. When all the barrels are gone, the Doll Boy will glow green and cruise around the area, trying to hit Wario with his hammers. [[Jump]]ing on his head will stun him, giving a chance for Wario to deliver the finishing blow. The Doll Boy might be based on the Japanese ''Daruma Otoshi'' board game.
