Mario using the 1,000-Fold Arms

The 1,000-Fold Arms, also spelled without a hyphen[1], are an ability that appears in Paper Mario: The Origami King. True to their name, they are folded origami arms that Mario can use to peel walls, and open valves, similar to the paperize ability in Paper Mario: Sticker Star and the cutout ability in Paper Mario: Color Splash. They can only be used with Olivia and while standing on Magic Circles. The 1,000-Fold Arms can be used during boss fights. Additionally, there is an option in the settings menu to control the 1,000-Fold arms with either motion controls or entirely with the controller buttons.
