Template:Character-infobox Senchō Kinopio is a character in Paper Mario: The Origami King. He is a pleasant purple Toad with a captain's hat and vest. As it would suggest, he is the captain of the Princess Peach. He requests Mario find the missing passengers and rewards him with a Collectible Treasure for doing so. He has a tendency to use the word "toot" frequently in his dialogue.

History

Senchō Kinopio is first seen after Mario defeats Paper Macho Gooper Blooper, being rescued along with many of his passengers. He talks to Mario and claims that he was not afraid of Gooper Blooper, and that the crew are lying if they say otherwise, then thanks Mario for freeing him.

After much of the purple streamer section has been cleared, Senchō Kinopio returns to his post and assumes position after Mario has found all passengers stranded throughout the Great Sea, with a message informing of this. When Mario returns to the ship, a Toad informs him all of the passengers have returned, and that the captain wants to personally thank Mario for doing so. The captain himself is found in the wheelhouse, at the front of the ship. When spoken to, he thanks Mario for safely returning all his passengers and rewards him with Collectible Treasure #56, The Princess Peach, comparable to the one in the trophy case in the first floor lobby. From this point on, the Princess Peach is able to traverse small parts of the Great Sea.
