The Excess Express engineer's Autograph from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

The Excess Express engineer is the Toad who controls the Excess Express in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Bub, one of the passengers on the train, wants to be an engineer when he grows up. If Mario gets an autograph from the engineer and gives it to Bub, he will receive a Shine Sprite. The engineer is very enthusiastic about the Express and constantly praises it while singing when Mario talks to him.

Tattle

  • "That's the engineer of the Excess Express. Talk about a dream job for kids! But just saying you drive a train doesn't make you cool. You gotta LOVE the job! I mean, we're talking about a train, here. That's some serious responsibility!"

Trivia
