Template:Infobox New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is a side-scrolling 2.5D platform game planned to release on the Nintendo Switch worldwide on January 11, 2019. It is a port of the Wii U launch title New Super Mario Bros. U. It contains both the base game and the New Super Luigi U DLC, which was originally released in 2013. The game introduces a new playable character, Toadette, who will make her playable debut in the New Super Mario Bros. subseries. She has a unique form known as Peachette that grants her abilities similar to that of Princess Peach and Princess Daisy. Mario, Luigi, Yellow Toad and Nabbit all return as playable characters from the original Wii U title.[1] Blue Toad, who appears in the original game, has not been shown to make a reappearance. Additionally, it is now possible to play as Nabbit in the New Super Mario Bros. U levels and Mario in the New Super Luigi U levels.
