'''Hot Hootz''' are common enemies appearing in ''[[Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze]]''. Hot Hootz are red and orange [[Hootz]]es that wear a belt with a red [[Snowmads|Snowmad]] insignia. They cover themselves in orange flames when they attack, but lose the flames afterwards. Hot Hootzes function similarly to [[Tiki Torch]]es from ''[[Donkey Kong Country Returns]]/[[Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D|3D]]''.

Hot Hootz are usually stationary and do not fly around in set patterns like Hootz or [[Blue Hootz]]. They attack the [[Kong]]s by releasing a [[fireball]] in their direction. When engulfed in flames, Hot Hootz cannot be [[jump]]ed on or [[Roll Attack|rolled]] into. However, when a Hot Hootz throws a fireball, it loses its flames and is vulnerable to jump attacks for a short time. At anytime though, they can be attacked with a [[barrel]] or other throwable object.

Being first found in [[Swinger Flinger]], Hot Hootz continue to appear in levels including [[Crumble Cavern]], [[Sea Stack Attack]], and others.
