The Crud Cannon is a weapon owned and presumably built by King Koopa. The cannon's purpose is to launch garbage over vast distances.

In The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 episode "Recycled Koopa", Koopa, wanting to mutate all of Brooklyn into Koopa Zombies and other creatures through exposure to his garbage, employs the use of the Crud Cannon to do so from the safety of his Doomship. After cleaning all of Brooklyn with their Trash Smasher, Mario and Luigi chase Koopa and his Crud Cannon out of Brooklyn by scaring him off in their now flight capable Trash Smasher.
