Template:Minigame-infobox King Boo's Puzzle Attack is a boss minigame in Mario Party 9.
Introduction
The camera zooms in on a window outside the tower. The view will then enter the tower, King Boo will appear, he'll laugh, and then the items will fall from above, followed by the cursors appearing.
Gameplay
The game involves the players trying to line up three or more of the same items to deal damage to King Boo (similar to Bejeweled). The items include Green Shells, Red Shells, Ice Flowers, Fire Flowers, and Thunderbolts. All items are worth one point each except for lightning, which gives the player ten points and takes three points away from the opponents. After losing half his health, King Boo will send a Boo in the playing field to temporarily stun any player's cursor that makes contact with it. Players whose cursors get caught by Boos must shake their Wii Remotes to break free.
The player who lands the final attack gets an additional ten points. Whoever has the most points is declared the winner.
Ending
King Boo will spin and disappear, disappointed, and several Mini Stars will appear.
