Wrecking Crew '98 is a sequel of Wrecking Crew and it took a more completive approach, including the ability to rain panels on your opponent. To clear panels, the player must either use the knobs on the side to arrange them according to color, or smash them with a Hammer.

Story

When Mario discovers that Bowser has been building forts in the Mushroom Kingdom, thusly depriving the local wildlife of sunlight, he starts a campaign to stop the building project. Mario's old nemesis, Foreman Spike, along with a Gotcha Wrench, Eggplant Man, and more new and old enemies, is once again out to stop him on his quest, however.
