Manky Kongs are semi-common enemies found mostly in the later levels of the game. Manky Kongs attack [[Donkey Kong]] and [[Diddy Kong]] by hurling [[barrel]]s at them in continuous pattern some, Manky Kong's even throw barrels at different speeds. Donkey and Diddy must avoid these barrels and jump on a Manky Kong's head to defeat it (it can also be defeated by hitting it with a [[Steel Keg]]).

Manky Kongs first appear in the level [[Orang-utan Gang]]. There, they attack the [[Kong]]s from their spots located on the treetops of the jungle. In later levels, they appear in high places for throwing the barrels, acting as obstacles.
