Noki Elder is conjectural apparently, but the others names (Old Fisher Man and Noki Fisherman), are they mentioned in the game or a guide? Because, if those two names appear somewhere I propose we name change the name for Noki Fisherman since this would be the best descriptive in my opinion rather than a conjectural name. This will also affect Noki Elder's grandson if he don't have a name.--LudwigVon Sig.png(TALK) 14:37, 6 June 2016 (EDT)

I can personally confirm that the official Nintendo Power and BradyGames guides don't give specific names to the old coot. Nintedo Power refers to him with a consistently generic term:
  • "Go to point A [on the map in the guide] and speak with the old Noki"
  • "The old Noki will give you a special helmet and place you in a bottle"
  • "Jump up to the ledge [...] and speak to the old Noki"
  • "As soon as you appear in Episode 6 you'll meet the old Noki"
  • "Talk to the old Noki on the top of the cliff"
BradyGames offers even less consistency, though more variety:
  • "After talking to the old Noki fisherman at the beginning of the Episode"
  • "The old Noki man admits his theory of the toxic lake was wrong"
  • "look high above the old man's head"
  • "the old fisherman greets him with a bottle by his side"
  • "The old Noki man is located on the ledge where Mario fought Chorobe[sic]"
  • "The old Noki man has finally gotten to the bottom of the toxic water mystery"
  • "From the old man's ledge"
  • "the old Niko[sic] man was finally correct"
  • "The old man says there's a friend yours up on the mountain"
  • "After talking to the old Noki man"
  • "to the left of the ledge where the old man stood"
  • "The old man would be so disappointed"
  • "As you begin on the platform with the old Noki man"

That's every mention of the guy that I could find. As for the Prima guide, Blocky has told me that he couldn't find any meaningful names, which I assume means that he's had similar results to myself. "Old Noki" might be a viable option, if only for its consistency in the NP guide, though it's not a particularly satisfactory answer. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

So, we have two choices, keep that name or we change it for "Old Noki", which is the most used name in the guides. But the lowercase "o" make it a similar case to "twin Dragoneels" they didn't got a different name from the parent species. This Noki didn't got a different name for the species.
