Not to be confused with Chained Kong.

Guerillas are Kong-like enemies found in the Forest Maze in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

Guerillas are the strongest enemies in the Forest Maze, having powerful physical attacks at their disposal. Like most powerful enemies in the game (i.e. Reacher or Mastadoom), Guerillas appear only rarely: usually one per battle. A stronger, yet physically identical enemy, the Chained Kong, appears later in the game. It is not known why either enemy wears shackles and chains, aside from which, they would be almost identical to Donkey Kong.

Trivia

  • Their name is a pun on the word "gorilla" and the term "guerrilla warfare", which refers to war combat where a few amount of combatants use terroristic armed tactics against a greater military force.
    • Guerilla's Japanese name, Dosokey Yung (ドソキーユング) is spelled with katakana that look similar but are pronounced differently than the ones that spell Donkey Kong (ドンキーコング).
