Chuckleroot is a large, gnarled tree that lives in Chucklehuck Woods. He guards the Mother Chuckalola, the mother tree for the forest, where the Chuckola Reserve is located. During the events of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, the heroes of the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi, travel to the forest to find a cure for Queen Bean's stomach illness. Before they can pass however, Chuckleroot asks the plumbers to collect three special Chuckola Fruits as proof of their worthiness.
