Flurries are snow-like creatures that appeared in the icy regions of World 4 in Super Mario Bros. 2's Subcon. These slippery enemies would run along the ice after Mario, but they had low traction on said ice, and could easily slip off an edge to its doom.

Flurries make a cameo appearance in Super Princess Peach. Here they appear in the background of World 6, Gleam Glacier.

Flurries are not to be confused with the friendly Madame Flurrie from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, whose name may have come from this classic enemy.

In Other Media

Some Flurries appear in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! where they talk even if they have no mouth. Also they, help King Koopa here instead of Wart, and one (Flaky) even had a name.
