5 Gold Coins are coins found in all installments of Mario and Luigi series, New Super Mario Bros., New Super Mario Bros. Wii and New Super Mario Bros. 2 they award the player 5 coins.

Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga: They can be found in any block. Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time: They can be found in any block. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story: They can be found in any block. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team: They can be found in any block. New Super Mario Bros.: After hitting a Coin Block 4 times and wait for certain amount of time, then hit it again, one more Coin will come out, and the block will be inactive. New Super Mario Bros. Wii: After hitting a coin block fast enough, 5 gold coins will pop out of it, making a total of 15 gold coins coming out from a coin block. New Super Mario Bros. 2: Can be found a coin Roulette Block, hitting that block with the number 5 on it will make 5 gold coins pop out of it.
