Spray Fish: Difference between revisions

'''Spray Fish''' are blue fish in ''[[Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island]]'', ''[[Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3]]'' and ''[[Yoshi's Island DS]]''. They appear in several [[fortress]]es and [[castle]]s, and also appear in the [[Island Museum]]. They shoot out a diagonal jet of water. It is almost like a wall and impossible to go through. To get past it, the player must wait for them to submerge or shoot an [[Yoshi Egg|egg]] at their head. They themselves can hurt [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]], but the water pushes Yoshi back.

It's possible they're related to [[Cheep-Cheep]]s and the [[Blurp (Yoshi's Story)|Blue Blurps]] from ''[[Yoshi's Story]]''. [[Hot Lips]] (from the original ''Super Mario World 2'') may also be a [[lava]] version of the Spray Fish (as it has an identical, though much more dangerous, attacking pattern).
