The Chain Chomp Capsule made it's only appearance in Mario Party 5, where it and could be thrown to a space on the board, or used on the player for fifteen coins. Whoever landed on a space containing that capsule got made Chain Chomp appear. He stole coins from opponents for free, and a Star for thirty coins. This is like Boo from past Mario Party games, but he works cheap, but doesn't steal much coins either.
