When the player encounters this enemy, it is not very dangerous at first, but if the enemy charges an ally, it can become a bit of a problem. When riding a broom, it attacks with electricity, but a double jump will make the Magikoopa fall off. When on the ground, it boldly walks up to Mario and smacks him. In Mario Superstar Baseball and its sequel Mario Super Sluggers, one of Magikoopa's alternate costumes has him wearing yellow robes, making him resemble a Yellow Magikoopa.
