Template:Smrpgenemy Chomp Chomps are golden Chain Chomps found in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They can be found in the secret underground region of Bean Valley. Fighting the solitary Chomp Chomp known to exist also plays a part in unlocking Grate Guy's Casino.
Trivia
- In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the second-to-last sentence in Goombella's Tattle for Chain-Chomps erroneously mentions the Chain-Chomp as "Chomp-Chomp", a name eerily similar to that of the obscure Chomp Chomp sub-species.
- One of the three Chomps of The Underchomp is yellow, making it appear similar to a Chomp Chomp.
- In the best ending of the fourth Nintendo Adventure Book, Koopa Capers, Luigi encounters a yellow colored Chain Chomp guarding a stash of coins. When the fumes from Wendy O. Koopa's botched potion knock the yellow Chomp out, Luigi claims the coins it was protecting.
