“Come again to Nintendo Land, and bring your friends! I'll always be eagerly anticipating your return.”
Monita, Nintendo Land

Template:Character-infobox Monita is a robotic creature who is the host of Nintendo Land for the Wii U. It has a feminine voice (although it is a robot and therefore has no gender). When the game is first played, Monita is trapped in a ? Block and the player must tap it on the Wii U GamePad to free it. It then teaches the player's Mii the basic controls in the hub world. After this, the Central Tower is revealed and the player is able to access all the attractions. It also appears to congratulate the player on their achievements or give tutorials for the attractions. In some attractions, such as Luigi's Ghost Mansion, it fulfills the role of the player character when the number of players is not the maximum of five.
