Chain-Saw Fish are enemies encountered in the game Virtual Boy Wario Land, released for the Virtual Boy in 1995. They appear to be shark-link creatures wearing a hockey mask with a chainsaw protruding out from a gap in the mask, and may originate from the real life sawfish, design-wise. They are found in many of the underwater levels in the game. They move very quickly through the water, tracing a short path back and forth within an area. They never remain still for more than a second. Chain-Saw Fish are quite aggressive, and won't hesitate to attack Wario if the creatures catch sight of him. Once they do, they will swim at high-speed towards the protagonist, aiming to harm him with the revolving chain-saw. They can swim diagonally, horizontally, but not vertically. They can almost out-swim Wario if they happened to be swimming head to head. Wario can defeat the Chain-Saw Fish by striking the underbelly area of the creature. They can also be destroyed by the flames of Sea Dragon or King Dragon Wario.
