Gooper Blooper reappeared in Mario Power Tennis where he was the opponent in the mini-game Gooper Blooper Volley.

Gooper Blooper appeared again in Super Princess Peach as the fifth Boss in the game and is defeated by wacking his tentacles and mouth with Perry.

In Mario Hoops 3-on-3, Gooper Blooper appears in the court called Pirate Ship. His job is much like the mythical monster, the Kraken, surround the ship in a menacing way and attack all passengers of the boat. Gooper Blooper smacks you with his tentacles if you get too close to the edge.

Trivia

  • Interestingly in the beta-version of Super Mario Sunshine Gooper Blooper was dark blue in color. Gooper Blooper was later changed to his current coloration for unknown reasons, maybe to make him look more like a Blooper.
