Rawk Hawk was the reigning campion in the Glitz Pit, until Mario arrived to steal his title in order to obtain the Gold Star, which is supposedly found on the Champ's Belt. However Grubba had the real Gold Star and was using it to power his strengthening machine, turning him into Macho Grubba.

Rawk Hawk's only appearance was in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
