Game DK: King of Swing

Treacherous Twister is one of the levels in Wild West World after completing Necky's Canyon or Madcap Mine. Finishing this stage alongside the other three will lead to Fire Necky.

Overview

The Bronze Medal is near the exit.

As the level name implies, it takes place during a tornado. Donkey Kong will begin the stage on the ground near the tornado and has to work his way upward. The peg boards will be shaking and moving, and some Kritters will be encountered. When DK jumps, he will drift to the left. If DK accidentally misses a peg board and drifts too far to the left side of the screen, instead of hitting an invisible wall he will be spun around the tornado and return on the other side. The level's Crystal Coconut is within a Wooden Barrel underneath the Barrel Cannon that Donkey Kong must get inside to get to the next part of the level.

The second part of the level has the tornado drifting to the right instead. Also, some of the arrangements of individual pegs will be moving in a clockwise or counter-clockwise motion as a result. The level's Bronze Medal will be obtained near the level's exit, though it can be tricky to obtain; Donkey Kong needs to use a charge attack, done by holding down both "L" and "R" to charge and releasing, to get the medal.
