New Parameter

Does anyone know why my PAR Code parameter isn't working? I can't seem to figure out what's wrong... -The Retro Gamer (talk) 20:30, 15 August 2014 (EDT)

PAR Code does this work?

works fine from what I can see. --HavocReaper48 02:12, 16 August 2014 (EDT)

Upon further investigation, the PAR Code isn't acknowledged in articles such as Tree Top Town with the "Template:Level/x", while articles such as Winky's Walkway that use the generic template function fine. If you want to make it apply to all variations of the level template then you have to go to each variation of the level template and edit it in. But, is the PAR code necessary? I don't see the point of it. --HavocReaper48 02:18, 16 August 2014 (EDT)

The PAR Code is so I don't have to add trivia to every level of Donkey Kong Country. It seems pointless to have to add trivia about something that occurs in literally every level of Donkey Kong Country.

Should the notable features parameter stay?

Hi, I'm wondering whether the notable features field of this infobox should stay. I think that the level infobox should summarize the level features (which it does), and while the notable features field does, it still tends to repeat what has likely already been said in the lead section, which is where the information should be in (or the level summary). The level infobox fields usually contain a few words minimum unlike "Notable features". Lastly, the Super Mario Wiki DKC/DKL level infoboxes, from what I remember, also has a "Notable features" field. This wiki pretty much believes that it and this wiki should stand out from each other as much as possible, including with infoboxes.

I figured I'd bring this up for discussion before choosing whether this change should happen or not. Atari Jaguar (talk) 19:17, 5 April 2015 (EDT)
