In Fur Step Island before grabbing the first cat shine, the player can skip past the trigger where Fury Bowser attacks Mario. The player must climb the ship’s mast, then do a spin jump, and do a midair roll at the right time. Fury Bowser is still here, and he has black hair instead of red hair, and he isn’t attacking Mario, or glaring at Mario. When the player grabs the cat shine when Fury Bowser isn’t active, the cutscene plays normally, and Fury Bowser still has black hair.
