The Star Road is a place in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It plays an integral role in the plot as the place where all wishes are turned into Wish Stars before being granted upon collision with the world. During Smithy's journey to Bowser's Keep, Exor crashes into the Star Road, shattering it into seven Star Pieces. As wishes cannot be granted until the road is repaired, a person identified only as "a higher authority" sent the star warrior Geno (real name ♡ ♪ ! ?) to collect the Star Pieces, thus repairing the road. With the help of Mario and his other party members, Geno is able to fulfill his duty and the Star Road gets restored. When it is seen in Super Mario RPGs ending, the Star Road looks immensely similar to Super Mario Worlds Star World, being a giant floating star found high above clouds in a screen featuring the moon in the upper left.

Although it retains the same role in the Nintendo Switch remake, it was given a significant redesign, now being a large star with translucent rainbow patterns. Star Road can be seen during the Triple Move Star Riders. It was also indirectly alluded in the pre-battle cutscene with Culex 3D, where the latter attributed his gaining his new form as a result of Mario's party granting wishes to powerful people.
