Several of the wishes associated with the fallen stars on Star Hill are fulfilled during the events of the game. Returning to Star Hill and inspecting the stars again will prompt a different response in recognition of this.

In [[Super Mario RPG (Nintendo Switch)|the Switch remake]], Star Hill is the focus of the remake's new post-game content. While resting in Marrymore, Geno sees an odd light at Star Hill, and when Mario and his allies investigate, they find new wishing stars have fallen on the hill, colored pink. These wishes are from villains the group had previously fought and serve as clues to their identities. Once each of them is defeated again, their wishes change to reflect this.
