Dream Boxing
Dream Table Tennis
In Dream Boxing, the player fills their Special Attack gauge up by landing hits on their opponent, taking damage and successfully blocking their opponents' attacks. When the gauge fills, one Special Attack is stored, up to a maximum of three at a time, with the character's gloves glowing to indicate an attack is stored. When the gauge is filled, the player can use a Special Attack by pressing the X Button, which if the opponent fails to counter, will deal a significant amount of damage to them. However, the opponent can also block the attack, which causes them to take a smaller amount of damage, or use a counter-special attack, which begins an input battle where each character must repeatedly press one of the A, B, Y or X buttons, with the one who pressed the button the most being able to pull off the successful attack. Whether or not the attack is successful, the special attack will be used. Although each character has a unique animation for their attack, there is no difference between their effects.

Dream Fencing
In Dream Fencing, special attacks charge up over the course of the match and can be performed by sliding downwards on the Touch Screen. Once active, the attacks can be held for a short while by holding down on the Touch Screen. Up to three can be stored at once, and when successfully used, the attack will deplete a large amount of the opponent's health gauge, and, if they are close enough to the edge of the strip, cause them to "Ring out". Special attacks can be stopped by successfully touching the opponent.

Dream Table Tennis
In Dream Table Tennis, special attacks are charged by filling a gauge onscreen, that allows the player to store up to three special attacks at once. The attacks are used by pressing the X Button when the player has one stored, which plays a short animation before returning a powerful shot with one of a number of effects to the opponent. Special attacks can be returned, but are difficult to do so. For special attacks that return multiple balls, the player an hit any of the balls back to continue the rally.
