Shooting Chomps attack by shooting spores out of its various holes, and the spores can damage the Kongs. They are the weakest member of the Chomp family, and can be defeated with basic attacks such as [[jump]]ing or throwing a [[barrel]] at them. If a shooting Chomp is on the ceiling, it can only be defeated by a [[barrel]].
