The Rosalina Tour was the thirty-third tour of Mario Kart Tour, which began on December 16, 2020 and ended on December 29, 2020. Due to the tour being themed around Rosalina, her Fire form from Super Mario 3D World appeared as a separate playable variant, with all of her previous variants (Rosalina (Halloween), Rosalina (Aurora), and Rosalina (Swimwear)) returning as the spotlight characters for the second week, and Rosalina's Ice World from Mario Kart 7 appearing as the signature course of the tour. The menu's background featured the structure resembling the Comet Observatory from Rosalina's Ice World as the landmark for this tour. This tour's trailer featured stars during its opening splash screen. This is the first tour since the Tokyo Tour, the second tour of the game, to not feature a course from Mario Kart DS.

Starting from this tour, King Bob-omb, as well as two karts, the Macharon and Crawly Kart, are now available in regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe. Also starting from this tour, the "Thanks for racing!" post posted near the end of each tour on the official Mario Kart Tour Twitter and Facebook uses the corresponding official tour image instead of a unique screenshot.
