Sr.''' is a [[Toad (species)|Toad]] in ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]'' who ventured into the [[Pit of 100 Trials (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)|Pit of 100 Trials]] to find treasures after he lost his job. However, he is quickly defeated by the [[List of enemies|enemies]] there and fails to return. Upon a [[Help my Daddy!|request]] from his worried [[Pine T. Jr.|son]], [[Mario]] heads into the pit to rescue him. Mario finds Pine T. Sr. unconscious on the 18th floor of the pit. Once Pine T. Sr. wakes up, he has Mario show his way back to the pit's entrance, where he is happily reunited with his son.

Later, Pine T. Sr. is mentioned in his son's [[List of e-mails in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door#Pine T. Jr.: Dad's Job|e-mail]] to Mario, in which he states his father has found a new job taking care of [[Li'l Oink]]s (mistranslated as "Bubu" in the English version) in [[Toad Town]].

[[Goombella]] can use [[Tattle]] on Pine T. Sr. only when Mario finds him unconscious in the 18th floor of the [[Pit of 100 Trials (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)|Pit of 100 Trials]] while taking on [[Pine T. Jr.]]'s [[Help my Daddy!|trouble]] but before Mario talks to Pine T. Sr. to wake him up.
