Pan European Game Information

Pan European Game Information, or PEGI for short, is a rating board which is used in European countries. Unlike ESRB, it uses numbers to describe which age is appropriate for the game.

Ratings

Rating Description
PEGI 3.png Is the lowest rating of PEGI. Games rated 3 are appropriate for anyone who are at least 3 years old. Analogous to the ESRB's eC and E ratings.
PEGI 7.png Games rated 7 are considered appropriate for people who are at least 7 years old. Analogous to the ESRB's E and E10+ ratings. Games rated 7 may contain minor violence or fear.
PEGI 12.png Games rated 12 are considered appropriate for people who are at least 12 years old. Analogous to the ESRB's E10+ and T ratings. Games rated 12 may contain a moderate amount of violence, language, and/or drug references.
PEGI 16.png Games rated 16 are considered appropriate for people who are at least 16 years old. Analogous to the ESRB's T and M ratings. Games rated 16 may contain strong violence and language as well as sexual content and drug use.
PEGI 18.png Is the highest rating of PEGI. Games rated 18 are considered only appropriate for adults. Analogous to the ESRB's M and AO ratings. Games may contain a high amount of bloody violence or discrimination, and can also generally contain several of the above items.
